Join us for a trip to see the Northern Lights from the comfort and seclusion of a viewing lodge located out in the great Alaskan wilderness.
While auroras are commonly seen in Fairbanks, light pollution from cars, streetlights, and buildings often drowns out the aurora’s brilliant colors. For the best aurora viewing experience, you need to hit the road and head to a rural area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Landmarks such as Cleary Summit and Murphy Dome are common aurora viewing locations, and many of these places feature viewing lodges, allowing you to see an aurora without having to worry about Alaska’s frigid weather.
Our tour will take you from the city of Fairbanks to one of the best viewing lodges in the area. You’ll get to kick back and witness an aurora while enjoying a warm beverage. Our experienced drivers will get you to the lodge and back safely, and our tour guides will liven up your trip with information about the Northern Lights, the history of Alaska, and more.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that you will see the Northern Lights during your tour. The Fairbanks Convention and Visitors Bureau states that visitors who stay in Fairbanks for three or more days have a 90 percent of seeing an aurora.
Additionally, booking is subject to minimum number requirements. If there are not enough passengers on the tour to meet the requirements, the tour will be cancelled and you will be offered a full refund or an alternative tour date.
